Super delicious shabu shabu here. Impeccable service and perfectly cooked Wagyu steak and miso fish. Will definitely come back again next time I visit Tokyo.

We had really good Yakiniku from a Japanese friend's recommendation. The service is really good - every piece was grilled to perfection by the waiter. The cut was simply the best. It was a piece of heaven in my mouth!!

Godaime Hanayama Udon Ginza (五代目 花山うどん)

3-14-13 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo (behind the Kabukiza Theatre)

Godaime Hanayama Udon Ginza (五代目 花山うどん) is a legendary 130-year-old udon restaurant from Gunma Prefecture, famous for its viral, extra-wide "Oni Himokawa" noodles. These ribbon-like noodles are about 5cm wide, offering a uniquely smooth, slippery, and chewy texture that has won national awards for three consecutive years.

  • Oni Kama (Signature): Chilled wide noodles served in a tanuki-shaped bowl with tender Gunma barley pork and a soft-boiled egg.

  • Zaru Futami: A classic choice for first-timers featuring cold noodles with two dipping sauces: traditional soy dashi and creamy sesame.

Turret Coffee Tsukiji (ターレットコーヒー)

2-12-6 Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo (1-minute walk from Tsukiji Station, Exit 2)

Turret Coffee Tsukiji (ターレットコーヒー) is a cult-favorite specialty coffee shop located just a short walk from the Tsukiji Outer Market. It is widely considered one of the best spots in Tokyo for strong, bold espresso.  They often serve dorayaki (sweet bean pancakes) and chunky scones, which pair perfectly with their bitter coffee.

ROAR COFFEE

〒104-0061 Tokyo, Chuo City, Ginza, 3 Chome−12−5第二 宏和ビル 1F

ROAR COFFEE is a trendy specialty coffee roastery in Tokyo, most famous for being the original creator of Rainbow Latte Art in Japan. While the colorful designs are visually stunning, the shop is highly regarded for its high-quality, house-roasted beans and strong, double-shot espresso base.  I specifically like their iced tonic expresso and their hotto sando - Cuban sandwich, Prosciutto & truffle butter and tuna melt sandwich.  I will go back anytime for the PTB sando!!
