London
The Pump Room Restaurant
Roman Bath
The Pump Room Restaurant in Bath is one of the city’s most elegant places to enjoy stylish, modern-British cuisine. It is open daily for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
This is a place which you cannot just walk in because you are visiting Roman Bath. Pre-booking is a must especially for afternoon tea during weekends. I was lucky enough to have an opportunity to try the afternoon tea there. Sitting in the middle of the Pump Room, enjoying traditional scones with a cup of tea and enjoying live band music. What is a better way to spend an afternoon in the Bath!!
Pearl Liang
8 Sheldon Square, Paddington Central, London W2 6EZ
There are not many nice Chinese restaurants in London. This one, although is not situating in the heart of Chinatown but close to the Paddington tube station, it serves marvellous Chinese food. I especially love the lobster noodles served in there. The sauce is very tasty, and lobster is fresh. The noodles have taken all the taste from the lobster and sauce. Price is on the high end but value of money. A Chinese restaurant I visit everytime I go to London.
Embarkment Cafe
25 Victoria Embankment, London WC2N 6PB, England
This is a small and private cafe hiding on the street of Victoria Embarkment. A very small cafe but with a big garden at the back where people can sit, talk, eat, drink and enjoy the sun for the whole afternoon. They do not offer a wide variety of food and the quality of food is so so, but the environment makes it a recommendation for breakfast or afternoon tea.
Burger & Lobster
One may think that this is just a normal burger place. True, but the burger and baugette served in this restaurant are mostly lobster and crab related. Lobster and crab can be in burger or baugette, but can also enjoy the lobster as a whole. No negative comments on all food in that restaurant.
My Old Dutch, Holborn
131-132 High Holborn, Holborn, London, WC1V 6PS
A restaurant full of pancakes - savory and sweet pancakes. For those that enjoy the old Dutch type thick pancake, or thin French crepe type pancake, here is the place to come.
The Fat Duck
High Street, Bray, Berkshire, SL6 2AQ
This is a world's top restaurant, first-class. Reservations will need to be made at least 3 months in advance, online. This is around 1.5 to 2 hours out of London city, but it's a restaurant that one must visit to collect stars "Michelin Stars. I don't think I have to speak more but to say, MUST TRY, one in your life time.
Fish Borough Market
How can one not try fish and chips when you are in London? I have tried both the traditional deep fried fish and chips and the grilled whole beam fish. My favourite is still the former - thin and crispy batter, fresh fish that melts in your mouth.
