There is not that much nice food in Jeju Island. Jeji Island, one that is surrounded by the sea, you would think the seafood there must be superb. Unfortunately, the seafood that I experienced in Jeju Island is very disappointing. I will not even want to waste my calories on a second meal. Therefore, the only recommendation I may have is the Black Pork BBQ.

This restaurant serves very nice pork for BBQ. A very nice and satisfying meal, but the restaurant is very small, so all customers are tightly knitted. When you have BBQ in this small place, not too comfortable in my opinion.

Namdaemun Market (南大門市場)

Namdaemun Market is a large traditional market in Seoul, South Korea. The market is located next to Namdaemun, the "Great South Gate," which was the main southern gate to the old city. It is the oldest and largest market in Korea.

I don't want to say too much but you just need to go and see and feel the market yourself. My only advice is to go there with an empty stomach otherwise you will regret not being able to try this and that.

粥鄉

This is a very cosy place on 2/F of a building in Mydong. The whole place serves congee and it's very nice and warm for breakfast, especially in the freezing cold winter of Korea.

The congee is boiled without any MSG, feels like home-made congee, but got a good variety and very tasty - 鮑魚粥, 松子粥. 海鮮煎餅.

Gyeongbokgung (景福宮烤肉店)

Mareunnae-ro 6-gil, Inhyeondong 2(i)-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea

This is a very famous place next to the Gyeongbokgung Palace serving Korean BBQ beef. It has a very long history and serves A grade Korean beef. Besides trying the BBQ beef, I would highly recommend the raw beef dish (生拌牛肉).

Kyochon Chicken (橋村炸雞)

464-6 Changsin-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea

Kyochon F&B Co., Ltd. is a South Korean fried chicken restaurant chain. Founded in 1991, Kyochon is one of the largest Korean fried chicken restaurants in South Korea. The outer is crispy and thin, unlike the chicken sold elsewhere and everywhere. The inside was juicy and soft! I ordered half portions of garlic and spicy. They were really great. The wait is about 30 minutes but definitely worth the wait.

Don't forgot to order the chicken with Korean beer.
