Manila
Las Flores
One McKinley Place, 25th Street, BGC, Taguig, 1634 Metro Manila, Philippines
A country cannot be a colony for over three hundred years and not imbibe the culture of the colonizer. Such is the case with the Philippines which was a Spanish colony from 1521 to 1898. Spain not only brought the Catholic religion to the Philippine islands, it also brought with it its culture and its cuisine.
This is a small restaurant in the BGC district. However, the spanish food is very authentic and a very nice hang-out place.
Aracama Filipino Cusiine
The Fort Strip | Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Luzon, Philippines
Restaurant is within Fort Strip and beside Prive. It has two floors. The first one for more intimate dining while the second is for a more informal dinner while drinking. The first floor is much better at night as I find the music on the second floor too loud.
We ordered fish ball for appetizer, KKK garlic rice, their signature Sinigang, sisig, gising-gising and crispy pata. The stars for us were the fish ball appetizer where you can really taste the fish in the ball, and the garlic rice.
Overall, Aracama is worth trying especially if you are craving for Filipino food.
